Why would you want to go out and see a bunch of stars?

Yup. Just weird.

But at least I know how to have fun, right?

I guess you do. It doesn't make you any less weird, though.

Where are you guys going to watch the stars?

[icolo_alkaid]

I was going to find a good hill that'll put us at an incline to lay down. Probably a little bit outside the village so that the light from the houses doesn't disturb the light from the stars.

But if stars really are that big and bright, shouldn't you be able to see them anyway?

[icolo_alkaid]

But they're over billions of miles away, so their light is hard to see.

[epicenity]

If you say so. But if a little house light can make them that much dimmer, then they're pretty weak.

[icolo_alkaid]

Oh, it's not that much of a difference for the really close stars, but for the small ones that are faaaar away, yeah. Sometimes the stars form a pattern, too. I wonder if they'll form the same patterns as they did in my world. It'd be awesome to see if "Alkaid" was up there!

A pattern? What kind of patterns?

Well, for example, the star "Alkaid" is the brightest star in the constellation - which is the actual term for the patterns - the "Big Dipper". The big dipper... well, looks just like that. A ladle.

So it's just like connect-the-dots. That's pretty boring.

Are there any dragon patterns?
