Difficulty: Medium

Step One
First, off, take this texture by ashke_icons and make it your bottom layer.

Then, take this texture and place it on top of the first and set it to Darken @ 29%.

Step Two
I used the marquee tool to make a rectangle in the middle somewhere and filled it with #7B2E00, set to Soft Light.

Step Three
Time for your base image! I used this image and erased the white areas, then resized it to fit into my icon. Sharpen if desired.

Step Four
Take this texture by colorfilter and set it to screen.

Step Five
Fill a new layer with that same #7B2E00 color and set it to screen @ 18%.

Step Six
Time for some texture editing! Take this texture (creator unknown) in a new window and invert it (ctrl + i). Create a new layer, fill it with #7B2E00 and set it to screen. Flatten this image, copy it, and paste it on your icon, and set it to multiply.

Step Seven
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color...
Input the following settings:

REDS
-51, 0, 8, 54

Then, click on your layer with your Naruto base - select the transparent parts with the magic wand tool. With that selected, click back to your selective color layer and press delete so only Naruto is affected by the color change.

Step Eight
Create a new layer and fill it with #CDCDCD, then set it to color burn @ 48%. Repeat the process in step seven so just Naruto is darkened.

Repeat this step, but fill the next layer with #EB963B and set it to color @ 24%.

Step Nine
I used the marquee tool again to draw another rectangle in #7B2E00, this time sligtly overlapping your brown slash texture at the top.

Step Ten
Almost done! Now, in #EB963B, write "CHEER" in 18 point Carnivalee Freakshow.
Add some tiny text and a border and you're finished!
