As for the line underneath some of my text: I use Photoshop's Line tool and then pick a color from the icon itself. Then while holding down the Shift key, I create the line, rasterize it and then blur it slightly. I don't use a brush at all. Rasterizing and blurring really helps to take away that bumpy yucky look, I find. :)
I can do a tut for the last icon, I actually have the psd saved for that one. I did the same silhouette effect for both icon 1 and 3 so I can even go into how I did that, if that helps. The second icon was a real fluke, I don't even remember now how I pulled that one off. :S

Yes! I'm so happy you have the .psd and going into how you did the silhouette would be FANTASTIC - I have no idea how to do it so I'm super looking forward to devouring it!!!! LOL. It happens. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING ELSE though!!!
