I guess I'll second setentpet's question, particularly about the colouring (and perhaps your sharpening techniques?) in Tony/Steve icon:

it's a kind of magic lol no. not really;) the most difficult part in those icons is removing the background probably:D then it's vibrancy, color blobs and textures/layers set on soft color :3
I'll write a tut on them to make everything clear:)

I DIE from your use of textures. I'd love a guide on how you make them work, or/and perhaps a tut on these specific icons. They're so pretty. *pets* Especially the Snape one. I'm in LOVE with it.

I'm not sure about what to say about my texture use because it's actually almost always 'soft light' and if not, then it's it's 'sceen' but I'll try to write something:D
