So I'm a little new to the icon making world I've got like a few months working with it just not sure how I'm coming along I'm glad I found this! Let me know of what you think!!
Not trying to be rude or anything but initial feedback would be the use of an lj cut if you would? That's a big lot of icons to just see sprawled out on my friends list like that. :(
Crit wise? The crops seem okay enough in the first three but the text looks tacked on as a secondary idea. They'd look much better without them. Did you do the desaturating yourself? Personally I think they could use a little more contrast but that's just me.
I'd repeat the more contrast for... #8? Also... with #7 I'd be careful of skin tone she seems a little yellow. No one likes looking like they have jaundice. Same think with the last four. Be careful of the tones of the skin as they can make your subjects look strange. Especially the last one.
The second to last one the image seems a little grainy (That seems to be a case for 3 of the last 4 icons) and personally the text is off putting in both style and color.
