Turning Colored Hair Gray or White?
Quick question: using either PSP 8 or Photoshop 5, is there any way to change the color of hair in a photo or pic to gray or white?
Can someone point me in the direction of a good tut or give me some quick instructions?

open up the photograph (image1) then:
select > select all > edit > copy > paste as new image (image2)
(still on image2) go to:
image > grayscale > image > increase colour depth > 16million
NOw would be a good idea to get the black and white image as bright or as dark as you want.
Go back to image1 and
edit > copy, then select image 2 and
copy > paste > as new layer > ctrl+shift+p (this makes it a new layer)>selections > select none
Now use the freehand selection tool to outline the parts you want black and white. When selected, just press delete. If it is too light/dark, change the brightness or contrast on the bottom layer accordingly.
It seems really longwinded, but its really not =]
