how do you do a selective color layer?

in the toolbar up on top, go to layer > new adjustment layer > selective color.

omgg thanks! one more question...

add a selective color layer:
REDS: -73, 0, +9, 0
YELLOWS: -62, 0, +100, 0
NEUTRALS: +35, 0, -29, 0

what do these numbers mean? I feel helpless!

when you see the selective color panel, on the drop-down menu, select Reds. in the first box (cyan), type -73; leave the 2nd box (magenta); type 9 in the third box (yellow); and leave the last one blank (black). do this for the values written for Yellows and Neutrals, which you can also find in the drop-down menu.
