Internet issues resolved, sort of. The last icons I made were done on my sister's computer, the one with PS Elements 4 and the screen from hell... The one that was my favourite actually placed third at nexticon which gave me a little boost. Looking forward to making more icons and be part of a more or less active icon community with a positive atmosphere

Glad to hear your issues straightened out :D

I signed up for a challenge so naturally my icon muse went NOPE and ran for the hills. Hoping it'll come back sooner or later. Also pouring over absolutelybatty's tutorial on text atm. If anything's going to give me a kick in the butt text-wise, that'll be it! *_*

Isn't that always the way? I should know better by now not to sign up for anything, but sometimes I still fall into that trap and then sadly have to bow out, because I'm not able to make any icons. :/

The thing about challenges is that is, well, challenges me and so I do stuff I wouldn't think of otherwise(usually a very lazy icon maker). But that forces me to be more conscious of what I'm up to which is where the blockages come from.

It's hard! But I wanna be snarky and so I must persevere ;)

I'm wondering if there's a country (France, Brasil, USA, etc.) icontest? I think it would be fun to have themes for every country. :)
