Anyone else shocked that we're more than half way through 2012 already? INSANE. This kind of post was probably better suited for July but w/e w/e. I thought we could some sort of "mid" year icon survey...type thing. Everything applies to 2012 only, of course.

Most iconned fandom so far? Misfits, Sanctuary or Stargate.
Any new fandoms you started iconning? Misfits, Once Upon a Time, Battlestar Galactica
Any new techniques you've picked up, or a skill you feel you've ~mastered? Yes, I'm better at coloring, using text, and cropping IMO.
Any fonts/textures/etc you've used and abused? The font Bebas. It always works.

Most iconned fandom so far? Sherlock and Supernatural, I think.
Any new fandoms you started iconning? Grey's Anatomy, CASTLE (my new one true loooooove), and I want to The Vampire Diaries but technically I've iconned that before so...I guess this year was the start of me making icons for it because I wanted to.
Any new techniques you've picked up, or a skill you feel you've ~mastered? I think...textures and I have embraced each other. Maybe. With less personification because that sounded a little creepy.
Any fonts/textures/etc you've used and abused? I abuse screen mode. Like a boss.

I loved your b/w batches so much omg, also +1 for doing more for theiconquest, definitely want to do the last two chapters but haven't gotten around to it yet :/ And I keep forgetting to do complex icons too sldkjf;lkasdf.

Could you guestimate how many icons you've made so far? only around 100/sobs.But that's already kind of an achievement for me,since I don't icon that much o_o

Any new fandoms you started iconning? Cara Delevingne and Sherlock are latest iconing fandoms,because I'm just starting to icon rl.
Any new techniques you've picked up, or a skill you feel you've ~mastered? Discovered the magical gradient map this summer lol and Auto Curves.Those should be the basics,I know.I just never messed with them :P Definitely feel like I'm pretty alright with coloring,especially Vibrancy,cuz I abuse it so much in everything.
Any fonts/textures/etc you've used and abused? I don't use text in icons often,but Orator Std is love<3

Most iconned fandom so far? My main ones of Blakes 7, Stargate SG-1, The Sentinel and Magnificent 7....
Any new fandoms you started iconning? White Collar.
Any new techniques you've picked up, or a skill you feel you've ~mastered? I'm working on soft blending, I still have yet to get the hang of it... and I've worked out how to do rain :) And started making some of my own brushes from textures.
Any fonts/textures/etc you've used and abused? I tend to vary my fonts a lot - as long as they're clear. I harvest a lot of pretty background textures through googling, and tend to use brushes and gradients more anyway.

Could you guestimate how many icons you've made so far? I don't know, probably upwards of 500 though. I know I've made some huge posts and some tiny posts.
Most iconned fandom so far? It's probably Final Fantasy like always, but in my latest posts I've been branching out more.
Any new fandoms you started iconning? Loads. Disney, Misfits, Batman films, Animanga (I made a few last year but apart from that I used to stick to video games)
Any new techniques you've picked up, or a skill you feel you've ~mastered? I feel like I'm a lot better at text than I was, and my texture use has improved. I basically feel a lot better about everything than I did last year.
Any fonts/textures/etc you've used and abused? I've used fonts like Nouvelle Vague a lot, and I've used this texture a lot too.
