I use Photoshop 7. This tutorial helps add life to seemingly boring images.



You can sharpen if you want to, I didn't.

The first thing I did was take this texture by innocent_lexys and set it to soft light 100%.




Next I went to Channel Mixer (Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Channel Mixer ) and put in the following settings :

RED

Red : +76
Green : 0
Blue : 0

GREEN

Red : +4
Green : 0
Blue : 0

BLUE :

n/a




Now take this texture by white_lilie and set it to soft light.




Take another texture by innocent_lexys and set it to screen.




Lastly, take this texture by nokitas and set it to screen to get the final result.
