Hi. I´ve found this texture and i want to use it but i don´t know how. Does anyone have a good tutorial? Also, can i change it´s color? Because i wanted red.
1. Change the color on the gif: open the gif. Set a layer on top in the color of your choice on "lighten". Adjust the brightness/contrast as needed.
2. Open the texture gif as a smart object and drag on top of the image you're using. Alternatively, open the gif and move all the frames into a folder, and then drag your base image underneath the texture folder. Set texture/folder to screen or lighten.
I'm not sure what program you're using, our what exact effect you're trying to achieve, but that's the basics.
To open a new layer filed with color, either 1. Click the button next to the trash can (looks like a page turning) and then flood fill with the paint bucket, or 2. Click the button with the half black half white circle, scroll up to New Fill Layer and choose a color to flood fill. Then, where you see "normal", scroll down the drop list and change to either screen or lighten.
Make sure your red color layer is above the texture gif, and make sure your texture gif is above your base image.
