I made a pretty simple tutorial. I'm suing PS CS2, you need basic photoshop knowledge for this tutorial because I suck at explaining things:)

how to go from this:

okay, get your base, mine being this one:


-duplicate your layer once, and set it to secreen. now this depends on the image you have, if it's very light then you might not have to set it to screen. if it's very dark you might have to duplicate it twice and set it to screen.

-new layer. color:003663 mode: exclusion Opacity: 85 (again, this depends on the iamge you have)

-new layer. color:6dcff6 mode: colorburn Opacity: 100

-new layer. color:f49ac1 mode: softlight Opacity: 100

-new layer. color:fdc689 mode: multiply Opacity: 36

-new layer. color:e7a076 mode: softligh Opacity: 100

now, go back all the way down. copy and paste you BASE as the layer on the top. set it to soflight and sharpen it once.
then add your brushes, textures etc. I added a brush made my inxsomniax

this ALL really depends on you image and on you taste.
