Brightening up a base (made in Photoshop CS2)

Dec 13, 2005 18:44

to

Sharpen ( Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen)

Duplicate > Screen

merge it ( Shift + Ctrl + E)

duplicate it and then go to curves ( Ctrl + M) and i chose 150 for input and 200 for output (remember every picture is different so play around with different settings) and then I set it to soft light

create a new layer and fill with #f7d29e on colour burn at 80% (again what works on this base may not on others)

Then duplicate the base and put it on top of the colour burn layer and set to screen at 50% and change the saturation (Ctrl + U) to -40

I like the way that turned out, but you can always duplicate again and set to screen or soft light and try different opacities

Thanks for viewing and I hope it was helpful :)
