A simple icon tutorial
This is my first tutorial.

Under the cut
I- We start off with this base. Sharpen once.
II- Then duplicate your base and set it to screen. Then, duplicate that screened layer twice. Set the top layer to Soft light. You can play around with the opacity of each layer. Don't merge the layers yet.

III- I wanted to stand out Michael's face, so I took Eraser Tool, opacity 100% and erased the background of the second screened layer. Merge all layers.
IV- Create a New Layer and fill it with #0E0B33, a dark blue, and set it to exclusion, opacity 30.

V- Create a New Layer and fill it with a light blue, #CFF5F4 , and set it to burn, opacity 100.

VI- Create a new layer on top of everything else and fill it with a light pink, #F1D8F6, and set it to burn, opacity 42.

V- Create a new layer on top of the previous layer and fill it with #F7BE7B, set it to burn, opacity 27.

VI- I love Michael's eyes, so I created a new layer and filled with a light blue. Then I took the Paint Brush, size 4, opacity 28 and picked a another blue, a little bit darker than the one I used befor. Painted Michael's eyes, his t-shirt and the road behind him. Set it to Soft Light, opacity 100.

VII- That's it! Now I added some text. The font I used is violation, size 7.
