to
My first tutorial, so hopefully this will be easy to understand :D I use the GIMP, but this is translatable.
1. Open base photo, crop it
2. Duplicate base and set to 'Screen' 100%
3. Duplicate base and set to 'Screen' 100%
4. Duplicate base and set to 'Screen' 100%
5. Duplicate base and set to 'Soft Light' 100%
6. Use
this and set to 'Multiply' 100%
7. Use
this and set to 'Screen' 52%
8. Use
this and set to Burn 83%
9. Use
this and set to Screen 13%
10. Sharpen it however much you please or don't if you don't want to
11. Then you can leave it at that or fiddle around a bit to make it darker and a bit bolder like I have (depending on what program you use, I just added a bit of a shadow in ArcSoft Photostudio) and you're done!
