im gonna show you how to go from this to

made in Photoshop CS2 but is transferable hopefully

if any of this is hard to understand then tell me and i shall try and make it easier :]



1. Get your base and resize it

2. Duplicate that layer and set it to soft light 100%

3. Flatten the image

4. Duplicate the base now and set it to soft light 100% again

5. Flatten the image

6. Duplicate the image a 3rd time and desaturate it

7. Now set this layer again to soft light but this time at 50%

and you should get this

if you like that effect and just want to leave it thats okay, but, if you want to do the second icon follow me:

1. Create a new layer and fill it with #000000 and set the opacity till you can see the image

2. Get a rubber and set it to the size 90px

3. Now simply click the area that you want to be seen

4. Put the opacity back to 100%

5. Next, make a new layer under the black layer

6. choose a brigt colour i chose #00deff

7. Fill in the new layer with your selected colour and set it to multiply

8. Get your rubber again and rub out the area that you dont want covered in the colour

9. Set it back to normal

10. Flatten the image and you should get
