FIRST ICON TUTORIAL

Aug 04, 2006 22:25

Hello lovelies. :) You'll be learning how to make this today (made in PS CS, Maybe translateable for other programs too?):

Crop your base to 100x100

I didn't sharpen my base (I don't usually do), But if you want to you can ^^

Duplicate your base and set it to soft light (100%)

Flatten layers

New Adjusment layer > Curves

RED
IN: 152
OUT: 160

GREEN
IN: 161
OUT: 161

BLUE
IN: 144
OUT: 142

New Adjusment layer > Selective Color

Make sure it's check to "relative" not "absolute" (Check below the settings)

CYANS:
Cyan: -8%
Magenta: +22%
Yellow: -24%
Black: -11

New Adjusment layer > Color Balance

Midtones: -3, +1, +16

Let's leave shadows and highlights alone. :)

New Adjusment layer > Hue/Saturations

Saturation: +10

And you're done. You can put texts, borders, and play around with opacities and other color settings if you're not satisfied with that.
