Pretty Light Blue Colouring Tutorial

under here =)
Made using PSP8. No curves, just layers.

1. First start with your base. Prep by sharpening, bluring, whatever you'd like. I just sharpened here after resizing
2. Duplicate your base three times and set each to screen 100% opacity. My image was a little darker, which was why I used so many screen layers. Really, we just want it as light as possible while still being able to see the details of the image.

3. Duplicate your base again, drag it to the top and set it to softlight 100% opacity

4.Above everything, create a new layer, fill it with #22BCE8 (bright blue), and set to softlight 100%

5. Create a new layer, fill with #F5E8A9 (pale-ish yellow) and set to multiply 100%

6. Create a new layer, fill with #DFE6FB(pale blue) and set to burn 100%

(not much of a difference, but it's there =D )
7. Create a new layer, fill with #F1D7F7 (pale pink) and set to burn 100%

8. Last step =). Take this texture
, set to softlight. (I'm sorry, don't know who it's made by. If it's yours, please let me know and I'll credit right away.

AND YOUR DONE!

I'd love to see what you get from this. Please don't make sets of icons using this tutorial. Change it around a bit. Also, for more graphics, please join
