First icon tut.

So, I got really bored, so I decided to make an icon tutorial.
Bare with me, I've never done this before :)

Made with PSP9.

We start with this lovely image of Ashley Olsen, from olsen-fan.net
Crop & resize to you're liking.

Duplicate the base, and set it too SCREEN at 50% opacity


Next we add an EXCLUSION layer, filled with #021c36, at 100% opacity


Next, a BURN layer, filled with #6dcff6, at 30% opacity.


And now we have another BURN layer, this time #9ec2ce at 100% opacity.


Time for a SOFT LIGHT layer now, #ffcfdc at 100%.


Last colour layer now, another BURN layer. #c0c0c0 at 100% opacity


And now for the Curves.. or curve?

Layers >> New Adjustment Layer >> Curves
for the RGB channel,
Input: 128
Output: 92


And voila!

I'd love to see your results, and also I'd love to hear your input on this tutorial seeing as it's my first.
