Hey there, hi there, ho there =D
Today I will show you how to make this Mulan icon in some veeeeery easy steps. This tut is totally translatable, because it uses just layers. Okay, I think, we should start

Step 1:
Get your base. Just do anything you do. I did nothing

Step 2:

Make a new layer. Fill it with #316799, and set it to Exclusion 100%.

Step 3:
Duplicate your Exclusion layer, and set it to Soft Light 100%

Step 4:
Duplicate your base, drag it to top, and set it to Overlay 100%.

Step 5:

Looks much better, doesn’t it? Next, make a new layer, fill it with #f8d4b7, and set it to Multiply 100%.

Step 6:

Okay, it starts looking gross again. Make a new layer, fill it with #316799 again, and set it to Soft Light 100%.

Step 7:

Make another layer, fill it with #e38ef2, and set it to Soft Light 100%.

Step 8:

Looks totally eeeww, I know, but I promise, it will look better in time. Make a new layer, fill it with #cdb082, and set it, yep, again, to Soft Light 100%.

Step 9:

Make a new layer, fill it with #d0e7e8, and set it to, what else, Soft Light 100%.

Step 10:

Make a new layer, fill it with #97c8c9, and set it to Linear Burn 50%.

Step 11:
Duplicate your base, drag it to the very top, and set it to Hard Light 100%.

Step 12:
It looks beautiful again!*jumps*. But we’re not finished. Just duplicate your base again, drag it to top, and set it to Soft Light 100%.

Tadaaa, you’re done! That’s all the magic =D. I’d love to see what you came up with!
