One more Christina Aguilera tutorial

Using Photoshop CS2, including Selective Color.

Go from
to

Start from Duplicate Base and set to Screen 100%.
Duplicate Base again, drag to the top and set to Overlay.
New Layer, fill with #5162dd set to Soft light 100%
New Layer, fill with #f5c477 and set to Multiply 50%.
Next go to Layer-New Adjustment Layer-Selective Color.
REDS
Cyan 100%
Magenta 16%
Yellow -28%
Black -13%

YELLOWS
Cyan 100%
Magenta 12%
Yellow -18%
Black 38%

NEUTRALS
Cyan 100%
Magenta -16%
Yellow -27%
Black 23%

Method Relative, press OK.

Make new Adjustment Layer - Hue/Saturation.
Always change just Saturation, nothing else.
Master +30
Reds +20
Yellows +10
Cyans +25
Press OK.

New Adjusment Layer - Color Balance
Shadows: -100 -14 +2
Midtones +20 0 +10
Highlights -26 -14 -28

Be sure Preserve Luminosity is checked. Press OK.
That's complete part for this icon
. But im not satisfied and dont want to stop here. So...
Duplicate Base and drag it to the top. Change mode to Darken.

Change mode to Lighten and u'll get this
