(no subject)
I've noticed that people dont use Filters of Photoshop so often in their icons. So i decided to make a coloring tutorial with some beautiful Filter effects. Maybe it will be a new fashion, huh? ;)
Photoshop CS2. Model Christina Aguilera. xD
From
to
Duplicate Base, set to Screen 100%.
New Layer fill with #9ddbf5 and set to Color Burn 100%.
New Layer fill with #060d3b and set to Exclusion 100%.
New Adjustment Layer-Hue/Saturation and set Saturation to +30. Press OK.
New Adjustment Layer-Selective Color.
Method Relative.
REDS:
Cyan 100%
Magenta 50%
Yellow -21%
Black 40%
YELLOWS:
Cyan 100%
Yellow -47%
Black 50%
CYANS:
Cyan 100%
Magenta -10%
Yellow 21%
Black 30%
NEUTRALS:
Cyan 35%
Magenta -10%
Yellow 12%
BLACKS:
Black 100%
Press OK.
Now comes tricky part. Go to Filter - Distort - Diffuse Glow, and make these settings:
Graininess 6
Glow Amount 6
Clear Amount 14.
Press OK. U will see this effect, ain't it beauty?
OR!
Flatten ur image, then Duplicate Base once, go to Filter - Distort - Glass. Make these settings:
Distortion 5
Smoothness 2
Texture Frosted
Scaling 72
Press OK.
Now take Eraser and set it to Soft Brush with Diameter 30. And erase Christina's face, hairs and body, but dont touch edges!

OR!
Duplicate Base, go to Filter-Blur-Shape Blur and choose some of big shapes, like rounded square. Set Radius to 15 and click OK. Now take Eraser, choose Soft Brush and set to Diameter 30. Erase Christina's hairs, face, body, but leave some far from edge. U will get something like this:
OR!
Duplicate Base, go to Filter-Pixelate-Fragment. Take Eraser, Soft Brush 30 and erase Christina's hairs, face and body, or erase half of picture, it will look also beauty! Example:
. (in the same way u can use Mosaic effect)
