Going from
to
in PSP X in 8 steps. Probably translateable. =]
1. Open your base & crop to your liking. I used
this base & cropped in on her face.
2. Duplicate your base & set it to screen. Change the opacity according to your picture. I set mine at 48.
3. Make a new color balance layer [Layers>New Adjustment Layer>Color Balance] with these settings:
Midtones: -24, 17, 54
Shadows: -52, 15, 42
Highlights: 33, 0, -23
Preserve luminance checked
4. Make a new H/S/L layer [Layers>New Adjustment Layer>Hue/Saturation/Lightness] with these settings for saturation. Leave hue & lightness alone:
Reds: 53
Yellows: 21
Cyans: 47
Blues: 55
5. Make a new exclusion layer and fill it with #0a1b3a. Set opacity to 71, or whatever works for your image.
6. Make a new softlight layer and fill it with #01dfbb. Set opacity to 55, or whatever works for your image.
7. Make a new luminance layer and fill it with #e14973. Set opacity to 42 or whatever works for your image.
8. Duplicate base and bring it to top. Set it to soft light at 100%.
And you're done! If it didn't come out the way you wanted it to, mess around with the saturation & color balance layers until they work with your base. I'd love to see what your outcome was.
