Hey guys~ Here I am postin' my first tutorial. *Bites nails*

Here's a tutorial using a gorgeous Jennifer Morrison picture and my trusty PS7!

Go from this
 to this
 or this
using no selective colouring. (Hooray for the PSP users!)

Copy your base 3 times (CTRL+J)

Set the 1st copy to Overlay 100%

Set the 2nd copy to Screen 53%

Set the 3rd copy to Soft Light 100%

Your icon should look like this so far:

Now it's time for the fill layers! Yay, my favourite part...

(Incase someone doesn't know how: Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Solid color)

1st fill layer: #060F3D >> Exclusion >> 100%
2nd fill layer: #BAFAE9 >> Color burn >> 73%
3rd fill layer: #9BD4F5 >> Color burn >> 100%

Your icon should look like this so far:

4th fill layer: #FFD9D9 >> Color burn >> 100%
5th fill layer: #FFDDCA >> Multiply >> 26%
6th (and FINAL) fill layer: #9AF6B8 >> Color burn >> 21%

And it should turn out like this!

Now, Flatten (CTRL+Shift+E) your image and go to Filter >> Sharpen

When I did that, it's turned out to be a little too sharp so I went to Edit >> Fade sharpen and set the opacity to 42%

After that, you should get this:

You can stop here for you can add this texture (
) by
faintscribbles

Copy this texture ontop of what you already have, then put it to Screen 85%

After this step, you should get this:

Aaaand... You're done! Yay! *Confetti* :D

Here are some other results:

(Why yes, I AM a House fangirl. How in the world did you guess? XD)

Feel free to change things around a bit! And please don't use my base.

I'd love to see your results so please post them! :)
