This tutorial was made with CS3, but I'm sure it will work with PS 7+. It is not translatable, as it uses Selective Colouring.
Step One: Crop your base. Sharpen using the Unsharp Mask. Fiddle around with the settings until you have something you like.
Step Two: Duplicate your base, set it to Soft Light at 100%. Duplicate your base again, set it to Screen at 40%.
Step Three: Make a new layer. Fill it with #c7ac7c. Set it to Multiply at 10%.
>
Step Four: Make another layer. Fill it with #85dcee. Set it to Color Burn at 10%.
>
Step Five: Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Colour. Click OK, without changing the settings.
