Jennifer Aniston tutorial
I did this basically to make eyes pop, but the whole icon looks shiny ^.^

Although tutorials are kinda flexible, remember that it doesn't work with EVERY image, but I should work perfectly if yours has green/blue tones or green/blue eyes ^.^ (like jen's)
First screen your image.
(I screened mine with 20% opacity, but depends on how da the one your using)
Then go to Layers>New Adjustment Layer>Color Balance
Shadows 0 0 0
Midtones 0 -23 +25
Highlights 0 0 -13
Then go to Layers>New Adjustment Layer>Selective Color
Reds -100 +29 +100 0
Yellows -55 +12 +17 0
Neutrals +50
Then I wanted to make her eyes pop a little more (because well, that's the whole point) so add another Selective Color layer (we are just going to modufy the cyan)
Cyans +35 -100 -100 0
Then I added anooother selective color layer (the last one I promise xD) to adjust the color of the hair and skin and eyes again.
Reds +15 0 0 0
Yellows -62 -41 0 0
Cyans +100 +24 0 0
We're done with the selective coloring ^.^ layer.
Since the whole point is making her eyes look prettier than they already are xD. Now we add a new kayer and fill it with #e2faf9 (it's a very light green) and set it to Color Burn
(It doesn't look like much of a difference here in the mini tiny pic O_o... but it is xD)
Before we add the nest layer we don't want to loose her skinf tone so we add a new fill layer again, this time with #e4ccba and set it to Multiply, opacity 65%
(Again, It doesn't look like much of a difference here in the mini tiny pic but it will be)
Finally add Layer>New Adjustment Layer> Bightness/Contrast
Brightness +28
Contrast +27
Now maybe you want to add your icon some text, brishes, textures whatever... this is my final result
