House Tut

Hello all! I've been lurking for a while, and decided that, why not, I'd post a tutorial!

This is my first tutorial ever, so if you don't understand something, just tell me, and I'll see if I can fix it  =]

 --->

First off, crop your base to 100x100. You can duplicate and set to screen if the image is too dark. What I did with mine, was:

1. Duplicate background 3 times and set to screen 100% each.

2. Curves layer (layer>>New adjustment layer>>Curves).

RGB
Point 1 - I: 80 ; O: 77
Point 2 - I: 129 ; O: 138

Blue
I: 100 ; O: 112

3. Selective Color.

Red: 50 /0 /0 /16
Green: 100 / -100 / -100 / 0
Cyan: 100 / -100 / -100 / 0
Blue: 100 / -100 / -100 / 0
White: 0 / 0 / 0 / 25
Neutrals: 50 / 10 / 0 / 5

4. Fill new layer with color  #192041. Set to exclusion 100%.

5. Slective Color:

R: -100 / 0 / 0 / -10
C: 100 / -51 / -100 / 68
B: 100 / -100 / 0 / 0
N: 0 / 10 / 10 / 5

6. Hue/Saturation layer. Set Master > Saturation: 10

7. Levels Layer.

RGB
I: 18 / 1,55 / 255
O: 0 / 255

Red
I: 47 / 1.66 / 255
O: 0 / 255

8. Color Balance Layer.

Shadows: 10 / -9 / 12
Highlights: -11 / 12 / 10
(check Preserve Luminosity)

And that's it!
Remember that not all icons will look good with this settings. you can fiddle around with them, which ever suits your icon better =]

I'd love some comments and to see your outcomes!
Thank you!

Done in Photoshop CS. Involves selective coloring and levels.
Not sure if it's Translatable.
