To.
Number one. Crop your base to 100 x 100.
Number two. Duplicate your base and set to Screen at 20%
Number three. Duplicate your base again and drag it to the top and set to Soft Light at 64%
Number four. Create a new layer and fill with 000000 and set to Soft Light at 30%
Number five. Create a new layer and fill with 05082a and set to Exclusion at 100%
Number six. Create a new layer and fill with 2a1905 and set to Exclusion at 100%
Number seven. Create a new layer and fill with ff0000 and set to Overlay at 4%
Number eight. Create a new layer and fill with dddddd and set to Color Burn at 100%
Number ten. Create a new layer and fill with 150320 and set to Soft Light at 10%
Number eleven. Create a Selective Color layer -
Reds: -100 +33 +100 +0
Yellows: +30 -49 -48 -31
Greens: -100 +100 -100 +0
Cyans: -100 -100 -100 +0
Blues: +100 +9 +42 +0
Magentas: +15 -7 +32 +16
Whites: -19 -20 -39 -19
Number twelve. Create another Selective Color layer and keep as Normal at 60% -
Reds: +23 +16 +19 +0
Yellows: -100 +20 -11 +0
Number thirteen. Create a Hue/Saturation layer -
Master: Saturation: +15
Number fourteen. Create a Color Balance layer and keep as Normal at 66% -
Midtones: -62 +5 +33
Shadows: +8 -2 +0
Highlights: +3 +6 -8
Number fifteen. Duplicate your base and grag to the top and set to Luminosity at 15%
Number sixteen. Create a Channel Mixer layer -
Red: +105 -10 +13 +0
Green: +1 +105 -2 +0
Blue: +7 +1 +102 +0

Remember that you may need to change opercitys, add or take out layers.
Experiment with the coloring and you may want to add textures and what not like I did with the same icon.
