Be sure to read the notes at the end of this tut, that's also where the PSD is and some clarification. ;D
1. Crop down your image 100x100 pixels.
2. Duplicate it once, set that to screen 100% then duplicate that layer. (Basically two screen layers.)
3. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels
Input Levels
23 | 1.64 | 255
I suggest you tweak this around to make your image clearer, this realy affects the lighting. :)
4. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves
point 1: output 28, input 49
point 2: output 119, input 121

Notes!
* I downloaded the selective coloring from a tutorial a long long long time ago and did some editting, but I can't seem to find the creator or else i'd credit. If you know please share. :)
* No need to credit me. ;D
* Jane PSD; It's exactly the same for the Vampire Knight one but the Harry/Hermione one I changed the levels around.
* YOU CAN TWEAK THIS AS MUCH AS YOU WANT!
* Please comment here. If you don't I might not reply. I won't remember to check this entry at icon_tutorial. =P
