- Although I like the texture, I think making it so that it doesn't cover the subject completely will work better. Either by using an eraser to remove part of the texture or when the texture is important for the colouring, using a brush in the colour of the texture to smooth it out more, alternatively you could use the smudge tool for that.
+ Love the background/texture though and the yellow in the hat is very striking.
