So uh. Submitting _dragonwhisker to be rated... again. 8D;; Not really expecting to be accepted, since I haven't really improved or am original. 8D;; Just trying to get some more tips on improving my icons. Also, like before, you can also look in my photobucket account for the newer icons. 8D;;

I do like a majority of your icons. your animations are probably my favorite ones :D.

your text is okay, nothing spectacular, but you do have good ideas. I don't know how the third cutout is actually a cutout, it's on a light blue background so it's not transparent lol. but yeah i gave a weak yes but they're still good.

I was going to say no, until I looked at this post. I've never played Ragnarok Online, but those icons are gorgeous! Your Chain of Memories icons are also very cool and original.
I must say that your newer post doesn't show your ability as well as the old one, I think. So I'm very torn, you obviously have what it takes, but I don't see you using it to the full extent.

Judging by the icons in this post and no other I would have said no. I like the third text one, but that's about it, the others are kind of mediocre.
The third cut-out is saved in .PNG format, and thus the transparent parts display as aqua and not transparent in IE, I think Firefox supports transparent .PNGs, but I'm not sure.

I really don't know what to say. Maybe you should manipulate your bases a little bit more, like in the last animated (and most Megaman icons I saw on your journal) all you did was animate it and slap some text on black. Textures are you friend, along with blending modes. :)

I have to say, I'm a bit torn. You can make icons, but I think your icons lack a bit of flair. Comparitively speaking, most of your icons are very plain, and when I skimmed through your journal, I didn't see any that really caught my eye ( ... )

I agree that your animations are your strong point. Your cut outs are really amazing, and I know how hard they are for many people but still, I'm not a fan of these. Your text is nice and adds to the icons, but I suggest expanding a little more on the fonts that you use.

Along with helgalitlar, your Ragnarok icons really won me over. They are lovely.

I say yes, but I can see that you still have some areas that you can improve on.

I'm going to say...NO. But only for now! I really, really love some of the stuff you have here. There's some really creative and complex ideas here. There's just a matter of refinement. Add to the complex of your icons. Spruce them up with colors, textures, etc. You've got some serious style, and I'd love to see it applied alot more. The animations are where I think you need the most work - they're good, but not quite at the level of "great." (I *adore* that third one, however.) Until then, I'm going to say I can't say yes, but I know I'd be happy to do so with just a little work. ^_^

BTW, I should add that it's not the actual *animation* that need the work. Those are great. It's the bases for the animation that could use the extra glam. :-)
