Applying to have my userpics graded please. I've made most of them myself, but if i didn't make it, I've credited who did. All brush credits are found in the links/credit section of my info.
Since I had already recently graded you at silvertoned with a really long review, I'll be keeping this one short because I don't have much to add that I haven't already said. ^^;
While looking through your userpics just now, I realized that you're a Mac user from one of your icons. This made me remember how you said some people mentioned your icons looking darker than normal? If so, give this a try next time when you're working on one of your icons. In Photoshop, go to View-->Proof Set Up-->Monitor RGB...then switch between that and Windows RGB. You'll probably notice some differences, depending on the icons or effects you were working on. In most cases, Monitor RGB will appear lighter while Windows RGB will look darker. The coloring might change sometimes too.
Checking to make sure that your icon looks decent under both modes might help solve your problem with how others are seeing your icon...especially with non-Mac users. Just thought I'd mention that, because I'm a Mac user as well. ;p
