Whoa, holy crap, that's awesome! The blood is the first thing that stuck out to me, it really stands out, especially after the base has een overlayed.

And I'm so envious of your fancy text-options, espcially the anti-alias, and those other nifty things that I don't have in Elements 2. XD

I think you do a good job with your icons, if you use Elements! I don't know anything about Elements, and the only reason I have PS7 is because my uncle gave it to me. xD

The thing about fonts, is you don't always have to use all those extras, as long as you have a wide selection of fonts on your computer. Be creative with your font selection, and you're good to go. :) I use the text-options because I like making my own look, despite having some 200+ fonts xD

Ah, thank you. ^^ Elements actualy works a lot like PS7, from what I found out(since I had a trial of that a while back.) For example, if I were to follow this tutorial exactly, I'd get the same result as you did, even though I'm using Elements, so I'm not missing a lot, just the tiny things. XD

And the font-thing is exactly why I'm missing the extras. I tend to forget what I have, and a lot of my fonts aren't suitable for icons, since I was more into banner-making before going into the icon-world. So at times I really do miss the extras, despite having 291 fonts. *dies*

Do not despair! Elements does indeed have anti-alias =D
