I'm going to see Sigur Ros in May, and I think Asobi Seksu, and I think that it is all for now. Seeing Broken Social Scene play on Olympic Island (that's the little island in lake Ontario) this year! With Bloc Party and Feist, etc. Excited about that, as they always play a festival on the island every summer and I never go and kick myself afterwards when all my friends rave about how great it was.
Hmm, you sound similar to me -- lotsa older friends, lotsa younger friends, although I do have a lot of same-age friends. But it's weird how the dynamics of the relationship change from group to group. may is a terrible month. the only thing it has going for it are some apple blossoms and a long weekend, and to be honest, september has got that anyway. well not the flowers but crunchy leaves, which beats apple blossoms anyway.
i'm seeing voxtrot on wednesday. it'll be my first show since october, which was death cab. i'm seeing death cab again on saturday, semi against my will. cool eh?

Do tell about the Voxtrot though! If you haven't forgotten about it by then... or if you've managed to slip away on holiday already...
