→ Do I need to be a member in order to get listed?
No, you do not. It would be great if you were though. :)
→ Do you accept affiliates?
No, this community doesn't. This is because iconlistings was made for the sole purpose of listing icon journals and featuring icon makers once in a while. :D
→ Do you list general icon communities such as fandomname_icons?
No, we only list icon journals.
→ What type of icon communities and/or icon makers do you feature?
Well those that are listed, of course. :P But aside from that, they show originality and creativity that stands out!
→ What kind of categories can be used?
Anything general, such as television, celebrities, video games, and the like. Specific fandoms will not be listed (e.g. Gossip Girl, Harry Potter, Final Fantasy) so please be broad with what you list. Broad fandoms like Nintendo and Disney are acceptable. WESTERN IS NOT A FANDOM UNLESS YOU'RE TALKING COWBOYS AND JOHN WAYNE.
→ Why can't you list if I make wallpapers, textures, etc.?
First off, this is an icon listing. Second off, icon journals/communities are listed based on genre/categories. Because of that, iconlistings has a policy on not listing an icon journal's capability of making large-scaled graphics and/or resources. If you make either, then great! I just won't be listing it. Okay? Sorry about that. If you want to pimp your resources and such, there are plenty of communities for that at hand such as resourcelove, psd_tuts, mintyapple as well as plenty of fandom-based communities that I'm sure will be interested in your work. :)
→ Why are some of the categories I provided not listed?
There's many different reasons for this outcome. What you've provided may be too broad (e.g. fandoms), too vague (e.g. Harry Potter), are synonymous (if you provide films, instead movies will be listed as a category) or can fall under a more general category that is already being used. :)
→ What happens if I delete my icon journal?
The moment I see it deleted it gets removed. If you only deleted it temporarily, you would have to re-submit a new applicant form. :'D
