RM colouring tutorial.

  • if you're a photoshop virgin, I don't recommend this tutorial.



    1) Crop image.

    2) Duplicate layer twice. set the first duplicated layer to screen, 100% and the second to Screen, 70%

    3) Selective Colour Layer;

    REDS:
    C: -46%
    M: 0%
    Y: +30%
    B: 0%

    YELLOWS:
    C: 0%
    M: 0%
    Y: -35%
    B: 0%

    NEUTRALS:
    C: +18%
    M: -2%
    Y: -24%
    B: 0%

    4) Hue/Saturation Layer;

    MASTER: Saturation +16
    YELLOWS: Saturation +30
    GREENS: Saturation -100
    CYANS: Saturation +25
    BLUES: Saturation +37

    5) Flatten.

    6) Gaussian Blur, Radius = 0.3px

    7) Add the flowery picture, made by gender. Resize it to whatever size you want, invert (Ctrl + I), copy, paste & set to screen.

    8) Flatten & save.

    *Keep in mind...

    Every icon won't turn out exactly the same. Therefore, if you are trying out this tutorial, choose a picture that would work.
