Period vs. Modern: Compare/Contrast

What I like to do is see how someone might manage two very different roles, especially if one of those roles is for a character in a period piece. So, this picspam is going to contrast the period and modern roles of 20 actors/actresses from various countries. Although the costumes and hair immediately come to mind, I also tried to look at other ( Read more... )

Is that the one where he's married to the main lead of Mei-Chan's Butler? I haven't watched that yet but I think I'd need to be in the mood to watch tearbendy movies like that. @_@ What other Eita movies do you have? I've only watched Summer Time Machine Blues which was a lulzy sci-fi tribute and I'd love to add more to the list.

Also, OMG, are you going to watch the Eita/Ueno Juri Twitter drama? It's apparently supposed to be good! :D

I enjoyed very much!

And as someone who watches TVD, those photos of Nina Dobrev remind me of how much sexier and more interesting Katherine is than Elena (imho). Part of it's the hair, part of it's the saccharine, sociopathic attitude.
