The Myth of All Wheel Drive

Why is it that so many drivers (particularly wisconsin drivers) seem to think that awd/4wd...

1.) Makes you invincible.
2.) Lets you stop any faster than normal.
3.) Makes the car drive itself.

i was thinkin about this while i was drivin around the other day... first of all... most of the drivers in wisconsin are fucking idiots. second of all, the only one of those that i might have to put some weight into is #2... i'm not gonna go into explaining why i feel that way, i just do... i've been driving awd/4wd vehicles in snow every winter since i've been driving, and i wouldn't have it any other way...
