Texture rant. Sigh.

I'm really annoyed by people who post LQ textures. How am I supposed to use these without making my own icon look like crap? I've been able to fix them up enough to look decent before, but still, I really shouldn't have to. :/

But sometimes they're preeeeetty. :'( IDK, it's just bothersome to me to find something that's perfect for what I want to make, except that it's... grainy and badly saved.

Aw, I thought you were referring to just bad textures. I've had the grainy thing (on what appears to be nice textures) happen to me once though, and it was annoying. I think the problem is that people save them as JPEGS when, in reality, to maintain HQ on 100x100 pixels, PNG is the best choice.

Oh! Yeah, that's what I meant. It's definitely the JPEGs... It just sucks that so many people save their nice textures like that.

Truth. There's so many good icons I've seen that I wanted to use, too, but they were saved too poorly to be excusable.

oh I thought LQ meant Large Quality....I thought you were complaining about large textures and how they look crappy lol
