Aghhhh gorgeous icons. 1) Is a little too dark for me, a little too much contrast. I really like the crop, though. The black and white is nice. 2) Crop, coloring and everything is really gorgeous.No concrit. It's beautiful. 3) I like the crop, the coloring on this is a little weird. I can't exactly pinpoint it. Maybe I"m just not a fan of the yellow/purple blend? I don't really like the shading around her fore/head eyes. I guess...I would rather that be lighted up along with the bottom of her face. Maybe use light blobs or a gradient? 4) I love the dramatic coloring in this. The only thing I would say is maybe go for a little more contrast around her face. 5) I'm just not a monochrome person, so this icon isn't to my taste. That said, I like the contrast and the text use. Hope this was helpful!
Thanks for the concrit! I'll take your points into consideration, especially on 4. Looking at it now her face is a little pale and wishy washy compared to the rest of the icon. (that's what I get for getting annoyed with it and just slapping on a bunch of textures!)
3 - Really like the crop in this icon, but I find the white bar on the right to be a little distracting. Maybe making the icon a little more clear and minimalistic so that she's just looking out into the distance would work a little better? 4 - I like the composition. Maybe using selective colour (or something similar) to darken the blacks a bit might make everything pop a little more, though. 5 - The crop and composition is good! Maybe some textures in the background to cover up the busyness of it (all the pipey bits) would draw more attention to their faces.
1 - Love the bright colouring in this icon! The composition and shadow's cool too. The green text stands out, but it's also a completely different colour to the rest of the icon, which is a little jarring. Maybe experiment with different text placement/a different colour for the "You"? 5 - Really love the crop and colouring! The background makes the icon look quite complex. I think that the icon might need a little more contrast or selective colouring to bring out the blacks though, and the area around Thor's hair looks a little blurry so it might be a good idea to sharpen it up some more.

1) Is a little too dark for me, a little too much contrast. I really like the crop, though. The black and white is nice.
