You're definitely not required to give back, but I'm a big believe in the social contract and power/responsibility, etc., etc. This secret makes me sad.

While I definitely support the secret maker's right to choose what they want to do with their "icon life", I'm kind of in this boat as well. As much as some people still seems to cling to the idea, iconning is not actually an individual business. It never has been, but it is becoming less and less true now. No, you don't owe anyone anything...but wouldn't you want to give back? Eh, maybe I'm just projecting too much. I don't know.

I guess maybe the point OP is trying to make is that we are projecting and that's it? I mean...personally, I love doing things to help out my fellow makers, because I got a lot of that on my way to where I am now (and still do, in fact) and I want to pass that on.
Then again, do people like, not feel good helping each other out? I'm never sure if that's a personal thing or something bigger.

I usually put them on soft light or screen. Hard light works occasionally, too.
Of course, I don't know your style, but maybe that helps?

I feel like everything has slowed down since I took over and I feel bad because what if it's my fault??? But I answer the few apps we get right away, so. Maybe we need some extra application mods.
