I dont personally feel "wrong" using someone else's icons but I do feel that people who think you must be full of yourself if you're only using your own icons are judgmental asses.

I think that's fine, tbh? You can still love other people's work but sometimes you just need a userpic of a certain something and that's easier if you just make it yourself.

The resetting-the-numbers thing is a pet peeve of mine too. I understand that it's hard to remember to do it, but giving every icon a unique number helps a lot when I'm saying "I'm saving 3, 7 and 22." If there are multiple icons given those numbers, it's ambiguous.

This is my #1 pet peeve in the icon world. I don't mind not numbering if it is a small batch (I can count to 10..most days :P) but when it is a big batch and they separate it by sections and starting the #'s over again..I am done.
