Why does this `comment count must be the same as download count` thing mean so much to certain people?
Sure, it's nice getting comments, but it's textures, you made and shared them because you want people to use them, right? So does comments mean more to you than knowing your textures will be used/looked at/experimented with? Or maybe you make and share the textures only because you want to see the comment count on your post go up?

If 100 people downloaded them, it means that they liked the textures THAT MUCH, they actually took the time to click the link and dl them to their computer, and that is saying a lot!! If all the same people took the time to come up with something to say in a comment, that's a bonus, a 100 downloads should be thanks enough.

Look at and appreciate what you have/get before you start whining and wanting more.

Most people love getting comments, so I'm guessing that's the reason. :P

I think it might be because the kind of people who go into those types of careers, were born with a gift for art & design. So it makes sense that they'd be good at all kinds of graphics, even outside of work/school.

I think anyone who makes icons has an eye for design, and anyone with an eye for design could make icons. And maybe people who work in design fields have more tools or experience? But I think it works the other way around too; I just got a graphic design job, and most of what I know I've learned from messing around making icons and other graphics.

I kinda do that too, though not all the time!

It's very nice to be thought of as Sophie tho, I'm not complaining :P

I think that, when I do change it, it will be Sophie again, bc Sansa is my QUEEN.
I have already made an icon that I'd like as a default, but it's for 20insp so I can't post it (20insp is another sad matter, I have no idea what I'm going to do to finish! It is just so tough for me)

lol sorry for the long post :P

Lol @ orange guy with the hat. I do wish I looked like Ms Agron, but alas, there could hardly be two people who looked less alike :p
