I'd say you should absolutely KEEP checking on your phone! They're so standardised these days and probably a lot more evenly calibrated than screens that you're most likely getting a more accurate reading of what the rest of the world is seeing.
sometimes if you've got an average-to-low quality LCD computer screen it will make the quality seem a lot worse than it is, hence the constant cries of "quality fail" in the icon community right now
Anon, I know those feels. But I gave up on the "waiting to improve part" and everyone super nice and don't make fun of me and actually give me some good advice/encouragement. I say go for it!
I made a spelling mistake once on one of my icons. I'm not a native speaker and I was, for some reason, convinced it was supposed to be spelt like that. It happens. However, I would encourage everyone to tell the maker. Someone told me about my mistake immediately, and I was glad because that way I could fix it.
yes, I think that's what you should do. I am sure I made typos too. English isn't my first language either, but I've been told there were mistakes and tried to correct them if possible.
