IDK IF THERE'S ANYTHING TO IT THOUGH. But I'll uh, try to like...explain how to prep a nice monochrome base for these sorts of effects, I guess 8D

B-But I said I wasn't going to do manga colouring tutorials D8! The tutorial I'm working on covers weedy/strandy/wispy hair though, so hopefully that'll help?

I can still do colouring techniques on that icon though. I think I applied like 7 adjustment layers *facepalm* (My colouring is SO not presentable without curves, hue/sat, colour balance, selective colour ETC. xDDD)

Haha, definitely could do a tutorial for that XD. And most of that particular batch, actually, since I somewhat regurgitated the colouring for the icons, with slight adjustments.
