I do look at the vote tally actually. It helps me to know which icons have worked and which haven't

Yes, I agree. Although I haven't got round to submitting any icons for this community yet, I keep meaning to - and I know from entering icons on other comms that seeing the total tally is really helpful in terms of showing me how well (or not!) I've done.
