TUTORIAL (feat. Tori Amos)//Brown colouring using exclusion and hard light layers

Today, I'ma teach you to go from this to this;
in 5-6 steps using PSP 7.

Difficulty: Basic
Transferability: Can be transferred to PS. The GIMP too, most likely.



1. Start with your base image. I suggest you don't sharpen it.
2. New raster layer filled with #0000FF (
), set to Exclusion at 27%.
3. New raster layer filled with #854C15 (
), set to Hard Light at 27%.
4. Duplicate base layer and bring it to the top.
5. Desaturate and set to Soft Light at 100%, or to your own tastes.
6. Add brushes and text if desired.
