It was past midnight when the dark and quiet room was fulled with they crying voice of the little baby. Baekhyun and Chanyeol were laying on the big bed they were sharing and no one even tried to get up. Baekhyun, at some point got annoyed by the noise and kicked Chanyeol off the bed, forcing him to go to the baby.
When he got to the baby cot next to their bed, he understood he didn’t know what exactly to do. The first thing he came up with was to hug the baby but that didn’t help at all. He sat there for about three minutes just hugging the crying baby trying to find a solution and then he got an idea - singing, he is a performer after all. He sang random lullabies his mother used to sing to him when he was a child. His voice was very deep and rusty which didn’t help to stop the crying either.
Baekhyun was already awake by all of the noises but he tried to stay with his eyes closed, hoping he would fall back asleep. “Milk” - he said, his eyes still closed. He got up after Chanyeol’s muffled what.
He got to the fridge in the kitchen, opened it and took one of the bottles with milk the staff had prepared for them and headed back to their bedroom. He was just about to give the bottle to the baby when Chanyeol stopped him. “Did you checked if it’s not too cold?”
Baekhyun looked dumbfounded. After he smilled to Chanyeol, he dropped a few drops of milk on his palm and licked them. Chanyeol raised his brows at his actions. He found it super sexy but he though it was on purpose since Baekhyun’s was looking directly at his eyes while doing what he was doing. They nodded at each other and then Baekhyun gave the baby the bottle.
“Can’t wait till the baby falls asleep” - Chanyeol said and Baekhyun only sniffed.
