Dude shut up, you're bloody awesome yourself :P At least you can write 'realistic' properly, I'm getting way too caught up in abstractions here...

I think Kirsten pointed out the use of 'effective' in the santa post, and I hadn't really considered how it fits into the overall feel of the story. I still feel like bits of it are too clinical, considering Robert's emotional attachment to Browning, but... well, you know what I'm like for second-guessing myself, haha.

I am truly and honestly blown away by this beautiful work of art. The descriptions are absolutely on point, no more and no less than they need to be. I love the stages that Robert goes through, perfectly illustrated and absolutely realistic.

The best word I could use to describe this is: flawless. With my jaw hanging open, that's all I can manage to say.

hee, you already know that ilu for that podfic, so I thought I'd finally sort out replying to the comments I got on this monster ♥

'flawless', though? You're really too kind :)

He's learned how to please, how to use his hands and mouth and body to his advantage, because nature has granted him that one thing - a physical appearance that attracts both girls and boys like so many wasps crowded round a pot of jam.

In a fic that utterly blew me away, this description stands out as particularly powerful. And I Fischer/Browning kinda squicks me, for obvious reasons, but this? Was simply sad and beautiful. A sterling piece of work. It's going into memories.

For, uh, posterity and also because I AM WEIRD, I'm going to link to the review I left you when you originally posted, here.

Again, you are incredible and ten different kinds of amazing and ILU. And I don't believe I said anything in the original review (which was a beast already) about how much I adored the D/S element of this fic, but I did. It was another one of those things that added so much to the feel of the story.

You already know about my -thing- for D/s, right? I could read it forever... come to think of it, I could write it forever as well. Probably two-thirds of my fandom writing output is D/s-type relationships. Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing...

Good thing, definitely. There can never be enough well-written D/S. When it's bad, it's really fucking bad, but when it's good it's very good indeed. :)
