Blues was wandering the net, waiting for Enzan to return from the Nexus. He could've waited in the apartment, but he often got restless, not to mention that he didn't want to run into Proto. He had a strong feeling the other Navi would be in a bad mood after finding out the incredibly obvious.
Not looking where he was going, he stumbled and nearly tripped over a small, coiled figure.

Chaud stifled a cry as a Navi stumbled over him, but his head jerked up when he saw a purple ponytail out of the corner of his eye. Enzan's Navi (and lover, his brain poked), Blues. He didn't say anything though, just curling up tighter and attempting, unsuccessfully, to stop crying.

"Of all the," Blues muttered as he brushed himself off. "What the hell are you doing like that? Don't you know viruses can get you?" he turned to what he thought was a young Navi and froze when he saw Chaud.

Chaud sniffled and uncoiled slightly, wiping a few tears away from his eyes but keeping the hurt expression. "I don't care," he said emptily. "I don't know why I'm in here and I don't know how to get out or back to the apartment. Obviously something's punishing me for what I've done."

"Oh," Blues blinked and loosened his grip. "Sorry. I forgot, since you were in here and all." He was still upset though. "...Are you going to tell him?" He trusted Enzan, though, especially since he wasn't remotely fond of Chaud. "Not that I really think you know what you're saying," he added as an afterthought.

"It's okay. And yes, I want to tell him." He blinked. "You...don't believe me?"

Blues chuckled. "I didn't say I didn't believe you. I'm just not sure you're telling yourself the truth. Are you sure it's Enzan you're in love with?"

"Huh?" Chaud looked surprised. "Um. Yes? Why wouldn't I be?"

Blues returned with Enzan some time later, and was slightly shocked to see Chaud still there. There was no sign of Proto though, and he appeared fine.
"Chaud?" he whispered softly. "I brought him." He had already resolved to tell Enzan if the blue-haired teen chickened out, but he wanted to give him a chance first.

Chaud lifted his head with tears in his eyes, but didn't say anything.

Enzan sighed and knelt down next to him. "So you're the one who has to tell me something, hm? Why am I not surprised?" He attempted a small grin. "So...what is it?" Chaud just shook his head strongly.

Blues watched them quietly. He glanced uneasily at Enzan, then looked at Chaud. "If you don't tell him, I will. I don't want to, but he deserves to know this."

Enzan glanced at Blues in surprise, but turned back to Chaud. "Come on, Slut-chan. Tell me."

Chaud made an odd choking noise in his throat. "Don't call me that, Enzan. It almost makes me regret what I have to say here..."

Enzan looked like he might object, but clamped his mouth shut.

"I...I...thought I was in love with you," Chaud said slowly. "But while I've been in here, I've had some time to think, and I realize Blues was right. I mistook my mental links. I'm not in love with you. I'm in love with Proto. And I told him I wasn't." His head drooped. "I...still want to be your friend, though."
